Legend has it, Calamity J wasn’t always a grill master—she started out as a rodeo trick rider with a wild streak and a serious love for queso. One day, after being bucked off a bull and landing in a plate of nachos (don’t worry, she was fine—the nachos weren’t), she had a spicy epiphany: why not trade her saddle for a skillet?

With a recipe book scribbled on napkins and a hot sauce bottle always in hand, she hit the trail and opened up a place where the food’s bold, the vibe’s laid-back, and the laughter’s always on the house. And just like that, Calamity J Grill & Bar was born—part kitchen, part cantina, all heart.

Now we’re servin’ up Southwest-inspired comfort food with a little sass and a lotta soul. Come hungry, leave happy, and remember: it’s okay to cause a little delicious trouble.
